Symposium: The Uses and Misuses of Animation

Past conferences

Animated Dialogues 2007, held in Melbourne, Australia from June 17-19, created the opportunity for university scholars as well as industry professionals to exchange their critical perspectives on a wide array of animation topics shaped by their cross-disciplinary interests. Hosted by Monash University, Berwick Campus and the Victorian College of Arts, Melbourne University, the conference attracted researchers from the UK, Canada, Japan and New Zealand as well as Australia.

Animated Dialogues 2007 made a significant contribution to the development of international scholarly discourse in the field of animation studies and provided excellent networking opportunities for both academics and industry professionals.
