The Project

The Visualising Angkor project was initiated in 2005 with funding from the Monash Asia Institute and the Monash Faculty of Information Technology, Melbourne, Australia. Working in collaboration with the University of Sydney’s Greater Angkor Project (GAP), the project seeks to investigate the applicability of visually rich, interactive 3D graphics and simulation technologies to the interpretation of ancient Khmer history.
